Two Kinds of Northville Homes
Northville is known for its historic downtown and the Victorian-era homes on the tree-lined streets around it, with Mill Race Village preserving some of the town’s oldest buildings. Out in Northville Township, the homes are generally newer and larger, often on generous lots.
Both keep us busy, in different ways. Older homes near downtown need careful rewiring and capacity updates. Newer township homes tend to call for big remodels, lighting design, generators and outdoor projects. Either way, the work starts with a conversation about how you live in the house, what you’d like to change and what you’d like to keep just as it is.

Homes near downtown Northville have beautiful woodwork and plaster that’s worth protecting. When the wiring behind them is original or has been extended piece by piece, it’s time for a plan.

Larger homes with finished lower levels, sump pumps and home offices have a lot riding on steady power. A whole home standby generator switches on automatically during an outage. We install Generac and Honeywell units and handle the transfer switch, permit and inspection.
